The story revolves around a young photographer Golu who falls in love with the daughter of a wealthy industrialist Rajendra Sinha's daughter Reena to the disapproval of her father. Rajendra has high hopes from his son Rahul to marry Reena so he fixes their marriage date for New Year's Eve which Golu manages to postpone until after his marriage by Golu asks for support from other friends. Golu falls in love with Reena but is also very close to his friend and neighbour Rakesh and Rakesh's classmate, Meera.
Golu's mother, played by Neha Sharma is a very good cook and has prepared a lot of dishes for the wedding party which Reena always refuses at one point she even asks Golu to marry her. The film received positive reviews from critics and was later released on 24 December across theaters in India.
