The Giant was there in Komplete 10, so yeah if all else fails, install it from there.
You don't need to install the whole Komplete 10, just select The Giant from there if you're on Windows, individual product installers are hidden files on the discs. You don't need to upgrade with Komplete 11, just run Service Center and it will show you any updates that are available for The Giant.
